The Lingholm Kitchen & Walled Garden
Only just opened - The Lingholm Kitchen & Walled Garden. No expense has been spared here!
The Lingholm Kitchen on the Lingholm Estate offers a range of quality locally sourced foods, home baked breads, cakes and pastries, teas and coffees.
The original kitchen gardens were well known by Beatrix Potter in the 1880's and 90's. In a letter to her publisher she credited the Lingholm Kitchen Garden as her original inspiration for Mr McGregor's garden.

The Rattle Owl is a 42 seat independent casual dining restaurant housed in a restored, listed building in York. The menus which change throughout the day focus on 'best local Yorkshire produce'. This has to be one of the best restaurants in York!
