VAT on hot take-out food wipes £30 million off Greggs share value

It would be very difficult for a brand such as Greggs to flex their food offer to reduce the impact of this new tax on hot take-away food but it will be interesting to see how other catering operations will adjust their menus to remain competitive. Will the catering trends be changing?
