Market - Rio de Janeiro

A great 'indoor/outdoor' cafe in a courtyard! Market in Rio de Janeiro is a little off the beaten track but well worth seeking out. While it does great healthy, colourful and full of flavour food throughout the day, the breakfasts are extra special.

We also love the design and furniture, including 'Wait' chairs by English designer Matthew Hilton.

Friday Night Socials at The National Cafe


Tonight is the first Friday Night Social dinner at Peyton & Byrne's National Cafe, starting with James Bond Night.

Oliver says: "The National Gallery is an amazing space and I want to use it to create a convivial experience that unites the best elements of the London dining scene: spectacular food, wine and cocktails, interesting conversation, culture, together with passionate and talented people. I see this as the foodie equivalent of an open-mic night: you never know what might happen and that's part of the fun. I'm speaking to lots of people but very open to suggestion - if you have an idea I want to hear from you.

Tickets cost £25 and includes a cocktail on arrival.
